Notebook Cover

Not to be overly dramatic, but I feel an actually pain in the pit of my stomach when I think of how neglected this blog is.  Juggling "outside of the home" work with the other activities in my life has taken a toll. I don't mean to keep whining about it, but it's really been harder than I expected. Add in a couple of weeks of not feeling well, which really amounted to an "I don't care" attitude and you can probably understand how happy I am to finally have a finished project.

Since I didn't have time to make a cute bag for QuiltCon (I'm sure they will be EVERYWHERE!) I decided to make a notebook cover. It'll look great with my green suede bag that I've been saving and am dying to use.

The closure secures with velcro and I add a button just for looks. I also made a little pen holder so I won't have to dig around for one in the bottom of the bag!Who else is going to QuiltCon and have you made anything special to take?
