Not to be overly dramatic, but I feel an actually pain in the pit of my stomach when I think of how neglected this blog is. Juggling "outside of the home" work with the other activities in my life has taken a toll. I don't mean to keep whining about it, but it's really been harder than I expected. Add in a couple of weeks of not feeling well, which really amounted to an "I don't care" attitude and you can probably understand how happy I am to finally have a finished project.
Since I didn't have time to make a cute bag for QuiltCon (I'm sure they will be EVERYWHERE!) I decided to make a notebook cover. It'll look great with my green suede bag that I've been saving and am dying to use.
Who else is going to QuiltCon and have you made anything special to take?

ReplyDeleteI'll be there and hope to get to meet you in person! And don't feel bad...I've made nothing special for QuiltCon (though now I'm wondering if I should be trying to whip something up)! My husband is out this evening, so it would be a perfect chance to sew, but our heat is broken and it's 56 in here (and dropping). Maybe tomorrow when it is fixed!
